CLARKE BROWN, PT, DPT, ATC, ocs

Clarke has owned and operated BrownStone PT for over 25 years. His credentials include a license in Athletic Training and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He was also the founder of a national training center for long distance running. Clarke also manages BrownStone Physical Therapy and Athletic Training, LLC, contracting with 10 area high schools. He is very active in multiple civic and professional associations, locally and nationally. Although he treats the entire body, he specializes in spine care and treatment of the foot and ankle.

MATT KEARNS, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, Cert. SMT, Dip. Osteopractic, faaompt

Matt is the managing partner of the BrownStone Newark office and he leads the team there. Matt attended Marion Jr.-Sr. high school and went on to graduate from Daemen College (Amherst, NY) where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Matt began working as a physical therapist at BrownStone. Matt returned as a professor at Daemen College where he taught gross anatomy for 3 years in the Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training programs. In 2014, he returned to the BrownStone Clinics full time. In 2015, he earned his post doctoral diploma in Osteopractics and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Included in his post-doctoral training was advanced training in spinal manipulation and soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

Hannah starr, PT, DPT, Cert. VRS

Hannah, from Newark, NY, graduated from Daemen College (Amherst, NY) in 2017 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is the lead therapist at the Canandaigua Office. She started working at BrownStone in 2014 while home on school breaks, and returned as a full time physical therapist after graduation. Hannah is also a certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist. 

DevAn Veeder PT, DPT, TPI Cert., SFMA Cert.

Devan graduated from Nazareth College in 2019 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and began working at Brownstone right after. Devan is primarily at the Newark office and is a local graduate from Lyons HS. He enjoys working with individuals of all ages from those dealing with arthritic changes as they age, to managing sports related injuries in young athletes. He has a passion for and specializes in treating golf related injuries and improving performance through optimizing physical abilities.

 jOSEPH aNGELLO PT, DPT

Joe Angello (PT, DPT): is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and continued his education earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2020. He has a passion for injury prevention and the use of emerging technologies in physical therapy. His favorite aspect of physical therapy is teaching patients how to manage their symptoms and giving them the tools needed to live without pain or limitation. Outside of work, he enjoys working on projects around the house and is an avid football and UFC fan. Joe is currently splitting his time between the Canandaigua and Newark offices.

Matt Condame, PT, DPT

Matt is from Caledonia, NY where he attended Caledonia-Mumford HS. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2020 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a minor in Psychology. Matt coached the club baseball team for 2 years during his college career. Matt’s hobbies include playing golf, hockey, soccer and hiking with his dog on the weekends. Matt enjoys working with patients of all demographics and diagnoses, especially young athletes. 

Jonathan Cappotelli, pt, dpt

Jon attended Caledonia-Mumford Central School and went on to graduate from Utica College with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. During his time as an undergraduate, he majored in health studies with a minor in gerontology. While attending Utica College, Jon also played football for 4 years in the Empire 8 Athletic Conference. He takes a special interest in working with athletes and customizing a rehab plan that is tailored to their respective sport. In his free time he enjoys attending Buffalo Bills games, hanging out with family/friends, and playing golf and hockey.

Betsy L. George-Jones, PT, DPT

Betsy completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy at Ithaca College and her doctorate degree at the University of Montana. A native of Clifton Springs, Betsy has been with the BrownStone family since 2005. Her interests include athletic and sports medicine related conditions, manual therapy, and pediatrics. She is the Coordinator for Clinical Education at our facility. Betsy lives in Canandaigua, NY with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys coaching girl’s soccer at a local high school, officiating collegiate and high school track and field, and enjoying the outdoors. 

Elizabeth Bradshaw, ATC

Elizabeth Bradshaw is from Rochester, where she attended Eastridge HS. She graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2013 with a double major in athletic training and kinesiology. While at Brockport she played on their field hockey team for 4 years. Since graduating, Liz has continued to play as well as coach field hockey in her spare time. She enjoys working with young athletes to keep them healthy and on the field!

KASSY HELLER, ATC, LMT

Kassy, from Arkport, NY, graduated from Ithaca College in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training. Along with being a certified athletic trainer, she is also a licensed massage therapist. In her free time you can often find her spending time with friends, exploring the Finger Lakes, reading a book, or visiting family. She likes working with the high school population because everyday is different, and it’s never boring!

COLIN WALL, OFFICE MANAGER

Colin is a graduate of Canandaigua Academy and attended Alvernia University in Reading, PA where he obtained a degree in HealthCare Science and Business Administration, as well as, playing for Alvernia’s Hockey team. Colin is Brownstone’s main contact for questions on billing and insurance. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing hockey, and traveling.

Michelle Reynolds-Fillion, Administrative Assistant

Michelle is a graduate of Pal-Mac Central Schools and went on to study at MCC where she received her Associate’s Degree in Medical Information Technology. She has been a crucial member of the BrownStone team for 18 years serving numerous roles including transcriptionist and receptionist. 

Sheila Brown, CFO

Sheila brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and business management to BrownStone. She addresses HR and fiscal management to all of the offices. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She is also active with the Marcus Whitman School District, serving on the school board for 21 years. She is the proud mother of four children: Hayley, Maddie, Lane and Chase.
