Meet Our Team
MATT KEARNS, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, Cert. SMT, Dip. Osteopractic, faaompt
Matt is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of BrownStone Physical Therapy. Matt attended Marion Jr.-Sr. high school and went on to graduate from Daemen College (Amherst, NY) where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Matt began working as a physical therapist at BrownStone. Matt returned as a professor at Daemen College where he taught gross anatomy for 3 years in the Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training programs. In 2014, he returned to the BrownStone Clinics full time. In 2015, he earned his post doctoral diploma in Osteopractics and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Included in his post-doctoral training was advanced training in spinal manipulation and soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).
KAYLEE STEARNS, PT, DPT
Kaylee is the Chief Operating Officer of BrownStone Physical Therapy and the Clinic Lead of our BrownStone Ontario location.
Hannah starr, PT, DPT, Cert. VRS
Hannah, originally from Newark, NY, graduated from Daemen College (Amherst, NY) in 2017 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She started working at BrownStone in 2014 while home on school breaks, and returned as a full-time physical therapist after graduation. She is the Clinic Lead at the Canandaigua Office. Hannah is a certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist and Concussion Management Specialist allowing her to see all of our patients with dizziness, balance deficits, and post-concussion.
DevAn Veeder PT, DPT, TPI Cert., SFMA Cert.
Devan received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. He earned Magna Cum Laude honors at Nazareth while receiving a minor degree in psychology and being a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. While in school he co-completed a research study that identified factors for fall risk in older adults and a study identifying risk factors for Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries in athletes. Since starting at BrownStone in the summer of 2019, he has gone on to receive specializations in treating golf specific injuries in a program with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and become Select Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) certified.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Veeder is active in working with athletes at local high schools, particularly Newark, Lyons, and Clyde-Savannah. His work at the schools include injury prevention programs, triaging injuries and on field injury management during high risk injury sports. He currently serves as the Clinic Lead of the Newark office and enjoys working with individuals of all ages including older adults dealing with age related changes to athletes managing sports injuries.
Dr. Veeder resides in Newark with his wife, Sarah. In his free time he enjoys watching sports, playing golf and being with friends and family.
Matt Condame, PT, DPT
Matt is from Caledonia, NY where he attended Caledonia-Mumford HS. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2020 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a minor in Psychology. Matt is the Clinic Lead of our BrownStone Macedon office. Matt coached the club baseball team for 2 years during his college career. Matt’s hobbies include playing golf, hockey, soccer and hiking with his dog on the weekends. Matt enjoys working with patients of all demographics and diagnoses, especially young athletes.
jOSEPH aNGELLO PT, DPT

Joe is a passionate and dedicated physical therapist who graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Driven by a desire to empower individuals to reach their full potential, Dr. Joe specializes in:
Workplace Wellness: Helping employees thrive physically and mentally at work through proactive measures like ergonomic assessments, injury prevention programs, and customized exercises to combat repetitive strain and overuse injuries.
Workers’ Compensation Injuries: Providing comprehensive rehabilitation for work-related injuries, specializing in getting patients back to their jobs safely and efficiently while minimizing pain and maximizing function.
When Dr. Joe isn’t helping patients move pain-free and navigate workplaces with ease, he enjoys being outdoors and staying up to date on business/technology news.

Katie works in our BrownStone Macedon location.

Kerry splits her time between our BrownStone Ontario and Canandaigua locations.
Jessica Tubbs, PT, DPT
Jessica graduated from Nazareth College in 2014 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a minor in psychology. She is a former collegiate athlete (soccer). She comes to BrownStone with a background in home care, where she serviced the rural community. She is certified in the PWR program for Parkinson’s disease. Her passion is in orthopedics and geriatrics. She works currently at the BrownStone Newark location, and lives in Caledonia with her husband, Chad, and two boys, Emmitt and Bode.

Jason joined BrownStone Physical Therapy in May 2024. He works in our Macedon location.

Jeff joined BrownStone Physical Therapy in April 2024. He works in our Newark location.

Emily joined BrownStone Physical Therapy in June 2024. She works in our Canandaigua location.

Haley joined BrownStone Physical Therapy in August 2024. She works in our Ontario location.
Betsy L. George-Jones, PT, DPT
Betsy completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy at Ithaca College and her doctorate degree at the University of Montana. A native of Clifton Springs, Betsy has been with the BrownStone family since 2005. Her interests include athletic and sports medicine related conditions, manual therapy, and pediatrics. She is the Coordinator for Clinical Education at our facility. Betsy lives in Canandaigua, NY with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys coaching girl’s soccer at a local high school, officiating collegiate and high school track and field, and enjoying the outdoors.

Isabella Cole,
CLIENT EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR
Isabella joined the BrownStone team in April 2024 and is the Client Experience Coordinator at the Canandaigua location. She brings 3 years’ experience in healthcare as a medical assistant. She is a Penfield graduate where she was a varsity cross country and track athlete. She focuses on providing a welcoming atmosphere for patients. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, photography, and reading.

Kearstin joined BrownStone Physical Therapy in August 2024 and works in our Macedon location. She graduated from Williamson High School. In her free time, she assistant coaches volleyball and softball, hangs out with friends, and plays sports.

Michelle Reynolds-Fillion, CLIENT EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR
Michelle is the Client Experience Coordinator at the Newark Clinic. She is a graduate of Pal-Mac Central School and went on to study at MCC where she received her Associate’s Degree in Medical Information Technology. She has been a crucial member of the BrownStone Team for 21 years.
Melissa sladden,
Director of client experience
Melissa grew up in the Finger Lakes region graduating from Geneva High school where she was a 3 sport athlete. After high school Melissa went on to continue playing lacrosse while seeking out higher education playing for both Monroe Community College and Lindenwood University. Melissa graduated from Lindenwood with a Major in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. After college Melissa returned to her home in Geneva at which time she joined the Brownstone team. While working for Brownstone Melissa returned to school one more time to become a Physical Therapist Assistant graduating from Genesee Community College. Today, Melissa continues to work for us as our “Director of Client Experience” and lives in the Rochester area with her husband and their two kids.
Melissa is happy to be living back in the region she grew up in and enjoys spending time with her family, days out on the water, and exploring all the finger lakes region has to offer.
Victoria Binion,
INSURANCE & AUTHORIZATIONS TEAM LEAD
Victoria joined the BrownstonePhysical Therapy team in 2023. She has been working in administration since 2002, specializing in physical therapy patient care coordination since 2011. In her free time, Victoria enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Susan Ternosky,
Practice Administrator
Sue grew up in southwestern Virginia and graduated from Roanoke College (Salem, VA) with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She worked for 20 years in the legal field before making a mid-career shift. Sue joined the BrownStone team in November 2023 as a Client Experience Coordinator, and was promoted to Practice Administrator in April 2024.
Sue has a lifelong interest in medicine and science, particularly anatomy, psychology, astronomy, and volcanology. In her free time, Sue enjoys swimming, cooking, reading, creating art, and adventuring with her family in the beautiful mountains around their home.
CLARKE BROWN, PT, DPT, ATC, ocs
Clarke has owned and operated BrownStone PT for over 25 years. His credentials include a license in Athletic Training and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He was also the founder of a national training center for long distance running. Clarke also manages BrownStone Physical Therapy and Athletic Training, LLC, contracting with 10 area high schools. He is very active in multiple civic and professional associations, locally and nationally. Although he treats the entire body, he specializes in spine care and treatment of the foot and ankle.
